Sunset Hill

We're thrilled to welcome our full
time oenophile and sommelier Rufus Boyett (and good
friend, to boot) to the Sunset Hill Team. Though I
love managing our wine program, with 4 kids I'm frankly
just too darned busy to give it the attention I
should. When Ruf' said he was available, I
said "ok, you start tomorrow" - and lo and behold, he
showed up!
Now, Rufus
has forgotten more than I will ever know about wines,
and loves to share his knowledge. Come meet him
and raise a glass during WINE DOWN in the
New Hampshire Tavern (4:30-5:30 pretty much daily,
schedule below).
You'll be sure
to meet him in the main restaurant as well, where he is
on hand to guide your selections (he's been fiddling
with the wine list already, made friends with the liquor
store ladies, and is muttering about storage...)
But most exciting is the program of
wine
dinners he is launching, beginning on
November 13th with the Tesori di Toscana
- the Treasures of Tuscany. We hope you'll join us
for dinner, or better yet for the whole weekend of wine,
fun, and friendship!

Every
afternoon (almost) from 4:30-5:30, join sommelier Rufus Boyett
in our Tavern or parlors for WINE DOWN TIME. We'll have
a bowl of noshies out, and offer a special price on the wine
Ruf' selects to feature. You can be certain of great
conversation, great wine, and a time to relax at the end of
the day.

13th weekend is all about Tuscany. A 4 course fantastic
Tuscan wine dinner. Fireside chats with Executive Chef
Wells and Sommelier Rufus Boyett.
Relaxed, informative, fabulous.
Two nights with breakfast, a 3 course dinner, and the
Tesori di Toscana dinner, $175ppdo for both
nights!!! That's less than $88 per person per
night!!!! Unheard of.
One night with the
Tesori di Toscana dinner and breakfast, $139per person per
night.
Dinner alone, beginning at 7pm (with
cocktails at 6) $75pp

Traditional
Thanksgiving
Indulge
in a home-cooked traditional Thanksgiving
feast with all the trimmings (Dont like
turkey? We have loads of other options). Decorate the
Inn for the Holidays - or just sit and drink in the views.
Walk in the crackling leaves, smell the woodsmoke - maybe even
get in some cross country skiing or cut your own Christmas
tree at the famous Rocks Estate. Breakfast (cooked by
me, Innkeeper Nancy, to your order) and a 6 course dinner (or
Thanksgiving dinner) daily every day, plus Thanksgiving supper
on Thursday too. Only $129per person per night,
any nights Wednesday through Sunday of the holiday
weekend.
